In order to enroll in a Technical Diving Course, although it's not mandatory, I highly advice you to take a medical check. If you have no insurance I advice you to take a DAN insurance or any other diving insurance that covers you for the level of the course you intend to enroll.

TDI/PADI SEMI-CLOSED REBREATHER
This is the entry-level certification course for recreational divers wishing to utilize one of the following Semi-closed circuit Rebreathers; Submatix ST100 or Space 40. The objective of this course is to train recreational divers in the benefits, hazards and proper procedures for using SCR Rebreathers.


PRE-REQUISITES
  • Minimum age: 15
  • Minimum certification: Nitrox or current enrollment into a Nitrox course
  • Minimum logged dives: 10

TDI AIR DILUENT CLOSED CIRCUIT REBREATHER, UNIT SPECIFIC
This is the entry level certification course for divers wishing to utilize a Closed Circuit Rebreather (CCR) for air diving. The objective of the course is to train divers in the benefits, hazards and proper procedures for diving a CCR and to develop basic CCR diving skills to a maximum of thirty (30) m / one hundred (100) ft / using air as a diluent. No decompression diving is allowed on this course.

  • Minimum age: 18
  • Minimum certification: Nitrox
  • Minimum logged dives: 20

TDI AIR DILUENT CCR REBREATHER DECOMPRESSION PROCEDURES, UNIT SPECIFIC.
This is the second entry level certification course for divers wishing to utilize a Closed Circuit Rebreather (CCR) for air diving. The objective of the course is to train divers in the benefits, hazards and proper procedures for diving a CCR and to develop basic CCR diving skills to a maximum of forty five (45) m /one hundred t fifty (150) ft using an air diluent for formal decompression diving.

  • Minimum age: 18
  • Minimum certification: Advanced Nitrox + DecoPro (OC)
  • Minimum logged dives: 50

TDI MIXED GAS CLOSED CIRCUIT REBREATHER, UNIT SPECIFIC
This is the intermediate level certification course for divers wishing to utilize a Closed Circuit Rebreather (CCR) for mixed gas diving. The objective of the course is to train divers in the benefits, hazards and proper procedures for mixed gas diving on the unit specific CCR, utilizing a mixed gas diluent containing sixteen (16%) percent or greater oxygen, and to develop intermediate CCR diving skills appropriate to technical diving to a maximum of two hundred (200) fsw / sixty (60) msw.

PRE-REQUISITES

  • Minimum age: 18
  • Minimum certification: TDI Air Dil Deco CCR or equivalent from agencies recognized by TDI. 50 rebreather hours over a minimum of 50 dives on the specific unit, TDI trimix diver unless combined with this course
  • Minimum logged dives: 50
